An Engineer and A Scientist

Thinking... on the topic of our time-- where did we come from?

The field of engineering is the greatest filter for the fields of natural and biological sciences: an engineer can start with an opinion, belief or hypothesis about a system or object, the world, but the process of design, implementation and testing goes on without a care to what the engineer believes.  The engineer is bound by reality and purpose and cannot bend the laws that govern this planet, that were installed at its creation.

One who only studies purpose and function cannot fully understand something until they attempt to create.  The rubber hits the road when our thoughts must function successfully in reality.  Any scientist who creates knows this.  Most scientists, however, only study... and then inform-- we take our information about the world from a person who only studies it.

The members of the field of science would do well to look to the field of engineering to realize prior opinion does not equal what is true and real.

Any engineer can tell you that only ordered things work-- and order hardly ever happens by chance.
