I just finished watching the opening ceremonies for the 2008 Summer Olympics. The final event, the lighting of the cauldron and the fireworks display brought tears to my eyes-- I'm not sure why, but a thought kept running through my mind, "If this is what man, in a country that does not know God can do, what can God do?"
The fireworks, the cauldron, the artistic program were beautiful.
If man can create this beauty here on fallen earth, what will heaven, the new earth be like? What did the process of creation look like?
I'm in awe of God and I can't wait to know.
